Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include the, Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation, and complex electro-mechanical equipment. •Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room) • Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning • Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades • Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding • High Purity Ceramic Grinding, Lapping, and Lasing • Advanced Metal Joining (CNC Electron Beam, Mig, Tig, Brazing) • Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved • Functional testing • Cable and Wire Harness Assembly • Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities • Automated Chemical Clean Line

Essential Functions and Competencies
•Understands the total business operation to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery. •Understands manufacturing systems and tooling development. •Communicates effectively, in both written and verbal formats. •Effectively mentors employees at all levels. •Understands and uses continuous improvement tools. •Drives solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision. •Supports a 24/7 global business operation as required. •Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills. •Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers. •Effective negotiation and problem solving skills. •Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism when representing the company. •Demonstrates leadership and people management skills. •Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with minimal direction. •Solid financial understanding, risk analysis ability, relationship-building, and project management. •Leads or participates in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format. •Available for travel up to 25% to 40% of the time, including day, overnight and international travel as required.

Qualifications / Education / Experience
•Manages Support Engineering Group, leading support engineers and technicians through career development and day to day responsibilities for the support and sustaining engineering of production equipment and the facilities. •Recommends and select new hires as well as recommends and performs disciplinary action up to and including termination. •Responsible for employee development and performance reviews. •Oversees the implementation of customer documentation changes and internal change orders. •Develops strategies for new business and assists in production planning. •Reports on the status of NPL (New Product Launch) activities. •Uses statistical tools to lead quality improvement within the support engineering team for products and processes. •Provides product design review leadership to customers. •Drives internal and external corrective action plans. •Plans new customer development and new business development within the support organization. •Analyzes data to understand business improvement needs. •Ensures personnel actions are consistent with Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and other related company policies and procedures in compliance with Federal and state laws and regulations.

5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering; 3+ years in a leadership role. Top level at smaller sites, second level large sites (600 employees and associated revenue/customer base).

4 year engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
